We'll take it...
Miami 31 - Marshall 3. We'll take it. Randy Shannon's debut was a good one. Stuff to work on, but a fresh breath after 7-6. More to talk about later, but the cocktails are-a-flowin' and games are still on. More tomorrow. 1-0 for the first time since 2004. More meaningful after 0-1 back-to-back seasons, huh?

Just like ever other Cane fan, reading any story that related to the Canes or Randy Shannon or whatever related to Cane football, I'm so happy for September. 31-3 is a start and being the first game the guys have a couple of kinks to work out, just like most teams around the country (well not like Michigan). However the run game look awesome Mr. James made it look so easy, you can tell he has put the work in. Mr. Cooper was very exciting and the 2 will make a good run tag-team. Mr. Freeman look good at times but had a couple of flashes from the past BUT Coach Nix will fine tune that and he will be a great quarterback. The O line looks good and the D line looks good as well, if we can tighten the screws on the pass defense the Canes will be ok. I for one am pleased with the overall win and it seems Coach Shannon has had an effect on them (I would prefer some names on the jerseys but then again no names keeps everyone focus on the TEAM). We have a little test next week with Oklahoma but I'm sure we will previl victoriously. GO CANES!!!! Big A from the 321 to the 305.
